1. New Interface
Windows 11 Home introduces a modern design with rounded corners, soft colors, and a centered Start menu and Taskbar for a cleaner, more streamlined look.
2. Android App Integration
Android apps are coming to Windows 11 Home via the Amazon Appstore, accessible through the updated Microsoft Store. While Windows 10 offered limited access to Android apps (especially for Samsung Galaxy users), this feature will be built-in natively. (Note: Android apps will not be available immediately upon Windows 11’s initial release.)
3. Widgets
Widgets make their return, now accessible directly from the Taskbar. You can personalize them to display the information that matters most to you, offering a more customized experience.
4. Microsoft Teams Integration
Microsoft Teams has been revamped and is now pinned to the Taskbar for easier access. You can use Teams to connect with others across Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS, much like Apple’s FaceTime.
5. Enhanced Gaming Features
Windows 11 Home brings Xbox console features like Auto HDR and DirectStorage to improve gaming performance and graphics on your PC.
6. Improved Virtual Desktops
You can now create and manage multiple virtual desktops more efficiently, similar to macOS. This allows you to organize separate desktops for personal use, work, gaming, or school, with the option to set different wallpapers for each desktop.
7. Enhanced Multitasking and Display Management
Windows 11 Home introduces Snap Groups and Snap Layouts, allowing you to group your open apps on the Taskbar for easier task switching. These features also make it simpler to connect and disconnect from external monitors without losing the arrangement of your open windows.
